Pneumatic Compression Devices

One platform, several markets: how pneumatic compression devices are specified, and how DJL's boot range is configured for professional and consumer channels.

A pneumatic compression device moves air, on a timer, in a pattern. Everything else — the market it sells into, the claims it may carry, the price it commands — follows from three engineering variables: how many chambers the garment has, what pressure range the pump delivers, and how precisely the cycle can be programmed. DJL's platform spans three to eight chambers and 40–150 mmHg across its models, which is why the same engineering appears in home boots, clinic systems and studio equipment on this site.

Sequential (peristaltic) compression is the format that matters for legs: chambers inflate in order from the far end of the limb toward the body, hold briefly, and release, so the squeeze travels. Single-chamber garments, which inflate all at once, feel different and serve simpler relaxation products. When you compare devices — ours or anyone's — ask which pattern the controller actually runs, because the brochure word 'compression' covers both.

For professional buyers, duty cycle is the deciding specification. Battery boots are built for personal sessions across a day; mains-powered systems such as the M1003 are built for back-to-back use in a recovery room or clinic, with selectable zones so one device serves clients who need partial coverage. DJL publishes these distinctions per model rather than blurring them, and the specification tables on our product pages are the place to verify them.

OEM programs on this platform cover logo, colourway, packaging and manual customisation. The manufacturer's published MOQ is 300–1,000 sets depending on model, lead time is 30–45 days after deposit, products carry a one-year warranty with 1% free spare parts by volume, and certificates are available upon request.
